Our Vision

To become the most trusted bridge between Nigerians abroad and essential government identity services, setting the standard for diaspora support across Europe.

By 2030, we aim to serve over 10,000 Nigerians across Scandinavia, expanding our network of centres to serve every major city in the region.

The Beginning

How It All Started

We exist because we lived the problem ourselves.

The Problem

As members of the Nigerian diaspora in Sweden, we knew what it felt like to need a document urgently and have no local option. The frustration of expired passports held up by missing NINs. The anxiety of bank accounts frozen because of unlinked BVNs.

The Solution

Echo Facilities is here to end that frustration permanently. Echo Facilities was established as a subsidiary of Kenyecho Logistics and Services Sweden, with official NIMC and NIBSS authorization to serve the Nigerian diaspora in Scandinavia.

"We realized that being Nigerian should never be a burden, no matter where you live. Today, with four centres across Scandinavia and over 3,000 Nigerians served, we're proud to be the bridge between our community and the identity services they need."

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about NIN registration, BVN enrollment, costs, documents required, and processing times for Nigerians in Scandinavia.

Yes. Echo Facilities is an officially licensed enrollment partner authorized by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to capture biometrics and process NIN registrations for Nigerians in the diaspora. We are also approved by NIBSS for BVN enrollment. Your registration with us is fully valid and recognized by Nigerian banks, embassies, immigration services, and all government agencies.
Yes. If you need both your National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN), we can process both during a single visit to any of our centres in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, or Helsinki. This saves you time and eliminates the need for a second appointment.
The in-person biometric capture appointment takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. After your appointment, your NIN is typically assigned within 24 to 72 hours. For BVN, processing may take up to 5 business days. We will notify you by email and SMS once your number is ready.
You will need: a valid Nigerian international passport (expired passports accepted with valid residence permit), a recent passport photograph with white background, proof of address in your Scandinavian country (utility bill, tenancy agreement, or registration certificate), and any existing NIN documentation if you are revalidating.
Yes. Since 2021, the Nigeria Immigration Service requires a valid NIN for all passport applications and renewals, including for Nigerians in the diaspora. If you do not have a NIN, you must register for one before your passport application can be processed. Echo Facilities can help you register your NIN and support your passport application.
Our pricing is transparent with no hidden fees. The standard NIN enrollment fee for adults (16 years and above) starts at $50 USD equivalent. Children under 16 are enrolled at a reduced rate. BVN enrollment fees may differ. Please visit our booking page for current pricing in your local currency (SEK, NOK, DKK, or EUR).
Yes. Children aged 0 to 15 can be enrolled for NIN when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has a valid NIN. You will need the child's birth certificate, passport (if available), and the parent's NIN slip. Echo Facilities offers family appointments so you can register multiple family members in one visit.
Yes. We offer NIN data correction and revalidation services. If your name, date of birth, gender, or other details are incorrect on your existing NIN record, we can process the correction through the official NIMC system. Bring your current NIN slip and the correct supporting documents (passport, birth certificate) to your appointment.
We currently operate NIN and BVN enrollment centres in four Scandinavian cities: Stockholm (Sweden), Oslo (Norway), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Helsinki (Finland). Each centre is accessible by public transport and offers weekly appointment slots. Visit echofacilities.com/book to see available dates in your city.
While we strongly recommend booking online at echofacilities.com/contact to guarantee your slot, we do accommodate walk-ins during designated hours at our Stockholm and Oslo centres, subject to availability. Walk-in hours are limited, so booking in advance is the safest way to secure your preferred date and time.
Absolutely. Your NIN and BVN registration processed through Echo Facilities is captured directly into the NIMC and NIBSS databases — the same systems used in Nigeria. Your numbers are accepted by all Nigerian banks (GTBank, Zenith, Access, UBA, First Bank, etc.), the Nigeria Immigration Service for passport processing, Nigerian embassies worldwide, and all government-linked services.
After your biometric capture, we provide a tracking reference. You can check your NIN status through the official NIMC verification portal or by contacting our support team. We also send automatic notifications via email and SMS once your NIN is assigned and ready to use.
Yes. We recently expanded our operations to Helsinki, Finland, serving the estimated 6,000 Nigerians living across Finland. Our Helsinki centre offers the same NIN and BVN enrollment services available at our other Scandinavian locations. Book your appointment at echofacilities.com/book and select Finland.
Your NIN (National Identification Number) is your unique identity number issued by NIMC — required for passport renewal, SIM registration, and government services. Your BVN (Bank Verification Number) is your banking identity number issued through NIBSS — required for opening and operating bank accounts in Nigeria. Both are essential for Nigerians in the diaspora. Echo Facilities can register both in one visit.
] Yes. Many of our clients travel from other cities within Scandinavia for their appointments. Nigerians from Gothenburg, Malmo, Bergen, Aarhus, Tampere, and Turku regularly visit our nearest centre. We recommend combining your appointment with a day trip. Book early to get your preferred date.
